OfflineHi! I recently started looking into buying a standing desk and came across models like the ones offered by ProgressiveDesk. Honestly, I’m a little confused about the frame choices. Which one would be better in terms of quality and durability if I were to use the desk with some pretty heavy equipment? I’ve seen mixed reviews, but I was wondering if anyone has any real experience with these frames and what’s really important when choosing? How stable is the desk in different positions?

OfflineI recently purchased a sit stand desk frame from https://www.progressivedesk.co…..esk-frames and I can share some thoughts on the topic of frames. Let me start by saying that I have a standing desk with a frame for a large workspace, and this frame was an important part of my choice. It is very important to understand that stability depends not only on how sturdy the structure itself is, but also on what equipment you plan to place on the desk. My desk, for example, can support two monitors, a keyboard, and a bunch of other small things, but in my case, I chose a more stable model with a reinforced frame. It is called “Pro” and has two motors, which provides additional stability. Regarding stability, this is probably the most important point when it comes to a standing desk. To be honest, I was worried that the desk would wobble at higher levels, but fortunately this did not happen. ProgressiveDesk models use a dual-motor system that provides a smoother and more stable raising/lowering. Everything is held very firmly and the table does not wobble even when I raise it to the maximum height. If you really plan on having a lot of heavy equipment on the table, you may want to consider the versions with a reinforced frame.

OfflineI like their products too. I’ve been using a ProgressiveDesk desk for about six months now and have no complaints. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the space under the desk if you plan to attach cables and other equipment. In my model, the frame gives enough space so that you don’t have to worry about wiring, which I really like.
