There are a lot of scarce and rare games for the Super Famicom. But does Rendering Ranger: R2 rank as the rarest of them all?

Read here to find Super Famicom Guy’s take on the subject. Thank you for sharing another article with us here on SNES Hub!

I find it fascinating (and very strange) that one of the rarest SFC exclusives was developed by a European, especially considering the stigma that Western developed games have in Japan.

Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown

Wow. That one was expensive even back in the day before the price inflation! It is certainly one of the more expensive…..

I’ve seen a few complete copies on Ebay for around $1000. If it’s frustratingly hard as the article says it is, it’s not worth the price of admission.

Excellent article, enjoyed reading through it. Many years back I saw copies floating on auction sites for between £400 – £700. Nowadays, if you do see a copy they’re usually above £1000 which when you add in all the other aspects it ticks; such as quality unhindered gameplay, high-end graphics, rarity of copies etc, it is for dedicated (& wealthy) collectors, the grand prize as far as Super Famicom software is concerned.

Ah, finally had a look at that. I’m terrible for doing lists of favorite/best games but as it’s SNES software I’ll give it a shot. Shoot, there’s only until the 19th. Another week and it’ll be over. Best put my 200 in the mix.
