Though I have a huuuge backlog, I decided to buy the Last Story thru pre-order. I got mine yesterday. The initial shipments will have an artbook and soundtrack included. I’ve heard good things about it. I also heard it isn’t nearly as long as XenoBlade Chronicles, which is a good thing for some. This truly might be the last good release for the Wii. Anyone else getting this?

I’ll consider it. It certainly looks a lot more promising than any of the Shit Square has produced in recent years lol!
Xenoblade was a revelation! I am curious at how the two will be different, as the cover-based battle system may be a great change of pace.

I know one difference is the length. I heard XenoBlade can last over 100 hours if you factor in sidequests. The Last Story I heard will last no more than 40 hours tops including sidequests.

I just got it a few days ago. I haven’t played it yet, but will do so tonight. Looks pretty good.

Yes! That is awesome! A very good price for this game. Did you hear about the mistake Amazon made a couple of weeks ago with pricing for this game? It was $8 for a short while. There is a nine page post about it on NeoGaf.
