Yes, I have a PS4. I seriously don’t play it often. The most action its gotten was when Call of Duty Advanced Warfare was hot. It’s just collecting dust now and I let my PS + subscription run out. I use it more to watch streams than playing games honestly.
The only thing I know about the Dark Souls series is what Mongunzoo said about it here on the forums. He mentioned it being really hard.
Right now my radar is set on Gravity Rush Remastered.

What you just mentioned describes exactly what’s happening to my Wii U :P.
As for Dark Souls. it is hard indeed but it plays like an old game would play if it was made in 3d and with HD graphics. I’m not sure why but it reminds me of Castlevania Symphony of the Night if it was set in a 3d world. Every area in the small world is interconnected just like the castle in SotN. You often need to go back to places once you’ve acquired an item to unlock a new area, etc. but the game’s very hard when you don’t know the enemies’ movement patterns.
It is so excellent that I can’t wait for III to come out. It’s got a lot of replayability too. I can see myself playing this for quite some time.

Dark Souls is definitely in my top 5 games of all time! I was soooooo excited for DS2, but that really underwhelmed me, so I was sour on the series. Wasn’t excited about DS3 at all. Then I heard Miyazaki was back at the helm (or something to that effect), and I became intrigued. The reason I didn’t like DS2 was that, although it certainly looked the part of a Souls game, it played all wrong to me. It felt like a fan-made game, in a way; which makes sense because another group was responsible for developing it.
I actually feel like Bloodborne was a better sequel. I was only able to play it on my bro-in-laws PS4, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I also need to play more of Demons Souls, as I have only played that on borrowed time, as well.
Sadly, the only current gen system I have is Wii U, and I don’t know if my PC can handle it… so I probably won’t be getting DS3. Plus, I’m a dad now. I feel like Dark Souls is the last time I will be able to put 200+ hours into a game. 🙂

Ah, DARK SOULS…… Scratches the Zelda itch better than Zelda ever did lol! Yes, I have a PS4 (got it for Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, No Man’s Sky, Axiom Verge, and Persona 5) Souls is my favorite game series of all time after 2D Mario, and just as consistent. 3 is really making me excited to play through 2 and 1 again, because new questions have been answered, and Playing the old with new insight will open up theories into Dark Souls 3. They are the perfect action rpg…
