OfflineYes this is sad indeed. I believe Iwata-san was struggling with illness for several months before he finally passed away. A true gamer and real gentleman.
As for who takes over I’m not sure, would Shigeru Miyamoto be willing to take on the role. Personally I feel he’s best used in the developing side of things but who knows what may happen.

OfflineThis was a sad and unexpected event at Nintendo. When I think of Iwata, the best word that comes to mind is class. He never complained, criticised, or made petty or mean remarks, and despite my criticism of him I did admire him greatly. I regret only having met him once in person, and wish those working at nintendo, his family and friends, and the many fans the best.
