OfflineThe title says it all, Dragon’s Crown is a fantastic experience for fans of old-school beat ’em ups; they don’t make ’em like this anymore. I highly recommend it.
The game has obvious influences from the Golden Axe series and Capcom’s old Dungeons and Dragons arcade games, yet still manages to establish its own style.
Fair warning though, the online playerbase is starting to dwindle (I don’t think the game sold all that well). There’s always couch co-op though!
Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown

OfflineThat’s a good call. The older versions allow for DLC updates, but if you’ve waited this long, you might as well wait for the physical copy.
I might spring for a physical copy of Ultra as well, since the price will surely drop quickly.
