One of the Switch’s best features is it’s collectability. So far the library has become like a curated list of gaming’s greatest hits combined with some of their greatest first party output ever. Paired with an on the go capability and the return of cartidges (Vastly more collectable than discs), the switch has sold me more games than any system beyond the 16 bit era (SNES and NES) are still ahead for now.

However, there are alot of companies that have thus far decided they don’t want my money. Here are ten games I would buy tomorrow if their developer wasn’t such a shithead.

1.Castlevania Collection-Fuck Konami. Only company I have not managed to pat yhis gen. Worst company in gaming and I fucking hate that these assholes have 4 of my favorite franchises.

 2.Contra Collection -Fuck Konami

3.Hyper Light Drifter-More tolerance for Heart Machine as they are an extremely small company. LRG needs to get on this shit ASAP.

4.Devil May Cry 3- Capcom is Weird. On one hand they give us Physicals of Resident Evil 4, Mega Man 1 through 6, Mega Man X 1 through 4, All of Mega Man Zero and ZX, all the classic Street Fighters, ,Okami, Onimusha, and the Beatemup Bundle. But then they get all gunshy  with DMC?!? huh..

5. Resident Evil 1-Same here. Baffling.

6.Cuphead-This is confirmed going to happen, but it needs to happen NOW. Take my fuckin money.

7.Ori and the Blind Forest-Do it, MoneySoft. You know your greedy ass wants my money..

8.Alien Isolation: A switch port that looks BETTER than the PS4 game?Call me when you get a physical.

9.Bulletstorm-This game is sooo good and needs to be portable. Too bad their publisher is Epic.

10.Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice-I want to play this, but no physical means no buy. Last year I would have said it was too big, but now we have the Witcher 3 on a Cartridge so that shits not flying anymore.

I’m sure some of those mentioned will get a physical edition. LRG, IamBit, and Limited Games might be willing to publish some of these physically.

I already got the digital of Cuphead, I couldn’t wait.

Here are some I’m waiting on physical:

Grandia 1+2 Collection – fix the bugs and make it happen

Stardew Valley – physical multiplayer edition already out in Japan

Shadowgate – would be nice, it looks a good update to the classic

Fire Pro Wrestling – why isn’t this series on the Switch?I

Shining Force III Complete – pleeeeease become a reality

Well a little update for anyone who doesn’t know. Grandia Collection is getting a physical but it’s an LRG release, which means high costs for anyone outside of North America. I’m looking forward to their release of Return of the Obra Dinn.

The full release list is here: https://www.nintendolife.com/n…..livestream

Edit: It also appears that Samurai Shodown Neo Geo Collection, Untitled Goose Game, and CrossCode are all seeing standard releases, at least they are in Europe for sure.

I’m excited for the Shantae releases and the Castlevania Anniversary Collection (glad I didn’t download it). Pretty cool list, thanks for sharing GhostSweeper.

Grandia 1 and 2 is a sore subject. Missed this by 1 DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had to pay over $100.00 for it thanks to that lol.

Castlevania Collection coming out is Boss. Still Fuck Konami. I do hope they give us Contra Collection as well.

CrossCode looks Amazing. Will be getting that.

Both Ori’s are coming. The Collectors Edition looks outstanding.

Overall it looks like Switch is going to finish strong thanks to Indies.

I’ve had to stop buying from LRG, postage is too excessive now which is a shame. There’s always StrictlyLimitedGames and FirstPressGames for us Europeans though. They do stuff even the US doesn’t get.

You all pumped for the Mario 3D All Stars?

I’m not. Seems like a lazy port by all reports.

I’ll wait for a properly done remaster of those classics.

Totally feel you on this—physical copies are such a big deal, especially for collectors. It’s crazy how some companies just refuse to put out physical versions of games people clearly want to buy. I’m the same way—if it’s not physical, I usually skip it. In the meantime, I’ve been messing around with some fun browser games like among us unblocked just to scratch that gaming itch between Switch sessions. Hope more devs start listening to fans like us soon!
