OfflineOnce upon a time in the late 80s, Nintendo was partnering with Sony to create a CD add-on to the SNES. After Sony revealed their product, Nintendo decided to break ties with Sony and partner with Philips instead, creating the Philips CD-i. Sony took their idea and created the Playstation. Now, what would the gaming industry look like if Nintendo stayed with Sony? There might be no independent Sony console today. Sega may have survived and still be producing consoles today. The SNES may have added a few years to its lifespan. What are your thoughts?
