What’s got me particularly excited about this new fanzine is that it appears to be heavily influenced by my absolute all time favorite magazine the legendary Super Play!!
Which for those who don’t know was a nineties UK SNES mag that covered tons of import games, RPGs, anime and Japanese culture.

Looks interesting. I really like Super Play magazine and we’re no strangers to it:

PAYMENT
Apart from the very small postage cost, it’s pay-what-you-like. The Buy It Now Or Best Offer is the Recommended Retail Price, but if that’s too much, then just make us an offer and we WILL accept it.Obviously the more you pay us, the more time we can spend on future issues and the better we can make HyperPlay RPG fanzine! We think you’ll like what you see in issue 0.

OfflineI quite like the fanzine. It comes as an A5 sized, black n’ white print paper booklet, with two staples providing support along the spine. I like this. It feels very old-school, reminiscent of the classic homebrew fanzines you would see appear in game magazines of yore. While it isn’t full-color or glossy it doesn’t feel flimsy or too cheap. Cover to cover the Issue-0 is 40 pages long and while its content may not appear bulky it has readable but quite small text within the pages and covers a nice array of subject matter related to both retro and modern gaming. Easily worth whatever you decide to pay should you choose to buy it.
Issue-1 awaits…
