LucasArts is no more, having been shut down by new owner Disney.

Discuss favorite LucasArts moments here.

Mine has to be Zombies Ate My Neighbors,a wonderful collaboration between Konami and LA that stands as one of the funnest Run N Gun experiences ever made.

RIP, LA.

Well, crud. I don’t think I have a lot to say here; if this topic were in the General Gaming section, I could talk more easily about favorite LucasArts games. But if we’re just talking about games for the Super Nintendo, I have none.

I’m still sad to see them go, but they didn’t make any SNES games I really liked.

Sorry to hear this. I used to like Indiana Jones & The Fate Of Atlantis on Amiga, one of the best games they ever produced imo. Zombies is the only SNES game I can recall that I genuinely had a lot of fun with though I’ve not yet played the Indy Greatest Adventures, Big Sky Trooper or the sequel to Zombies, Ghoul Patrol. I honestly didn’t like the Super Star Wars games they made. Yep, sad news but in these times hardly a shock anymore. R.I.P LucasArts

Very sad news.  I wish nothing but the best for the former employees and their families during this difficult time.

I never tried Zombies Ate My Neighbours on either console, though the game’s been praised almost universally.  The Super Star Wars games were a little too difficult for my tastes, though I always did enjoy their aesthetics.

If we’re adding other consoles into the mix, I did enjoy some of their N64 Star Wars games back in the day (Rogue Squadron, Episode 1 Racer).  I also had a lot of fun with some of their PC games, like Jedi Knight 2.

They were well known for their adventure games, though again, I never did try them.  Maniac Mansion and Escape from Monkey Island are both very popular.

Check out this list of all their games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L…..Arts_games

Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown

Yes, it’s sad that another developer will be closing its door. I guess for the Super NES the ZAMN game would stand out most to me. My favorite NES game from them is Maniac Mansion. I had loads of fun with that game.

I’m certain I will. As I said in another post, I played and beat the first Playstation Clock Tower game that was released in America. Never knew there was a previous game to that until about a year ago.
