What do you guys prefer I like the SNES 1 more because it’s cooler looking and has the eject button, but I do have both and currently play my mini because my 19 year old original broke.

I like both versions but I decided I would use my original model until it breaks, then I might get a SNS-101 to replace it. Considering that they are almost equivalent, it’s mostly a matter of look. I can’t say I really prefer its look, but the original’s look is more appealing to me.. probably because of nostalgia. Although if I had to choose one from all the SNES variations, I’d choose the Super Famicom for its look anyday.

I hate the look of the SNES mini. It looks like some ugly alien from a faraway planet. I personally would never purchase one of those things.

I will always prefer the look of the original. The appearance of the Super Famicom & European SNES is starting to grow on me though.

The SNES mini certainly looks kind of cheap.  The worst thing about it is that it doesn’t support S-video.

On the plus side, I’m not aware of any yellowing issues with the console.

I agree that the Super Famicom looks sweet!

Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown
