Has anyone played Popeye: Tale of the Sea Hag? The graphics look really good, but I read the gameplay sucks. Can anyone confirm?

Some other good ones are:

The Magical Land of Wozz

Mario and Wario

Return of Double Dragon ( better than the North American version)

Never played it Masa. I wouldn’t mind having it but it’s slightly pricey for what I think its worth. From what little I know it’s supposed to be a decent game.

I’ve since added another 11 SuFami games. Japanese versions of several expensive SNES games, MMX3, MM7, Super Castlevania and Sparkster. I also have all 3 Parodius games, Twinbee: Rainbow Bell Adventure i.e. games that I couldn’t get over here. For a lark I picked up Panel de Pon and Yoshi’s Island also got a game in the Zenki franchise. Though not the one I wanted. I got a weird board game/strategy RPG mix rather than a side scrolling beat um up platformer.

Hi Mr. Saturn! How do the Parodius games compare to other shumups on the system?

Unholy Night : NEW Super Famicom / SNES GAME!!!

I was going to make a new topic but felt this belongs here in the SFC thread. Here we go then, the year is 2017 and we’re all set for an official new SFC release!

https://www.eventhubs.com/news…..made-snes/

I preordered this very quickly. My source was taking 200 orders only and I got there just in time, in fact he told me I was literally the last to order and he wasn’t sure whether he could get any more. He only had the preorder set up for less than 2 days before selling out so I’m very lucky to get in on this. Should arrive by April, 2017. Awesome stuff, never thought this would happen.

I think the Playstation 3 has a lot of games in this graphical style, but still nice to see games being produced on the Super Nintendo.

Been steadily collecing SuFami since I first posted in this thread. The Parodius games have been a favorite of mine and I got the cheaper SuFami versions of Super Castlevania, Dracula X, Sparkster, Mega Man 7 and X3. Found a good find in Kishin Douji Zenki: Battle Raiden. A strong action platformer based on an anime. I have no idea what is going on with it but I didn’t really need to play the game.

As you been steadily collecting, I’ve been slowly liquidating my SFC collection. Only have 10 Super Famicom games left. Probably will add more to my collection someday though.

Hope y’all doing okay, folks. I still notice Masa, on vgcollect when you’re updating your collection and wishlist stuff.

Nice to see I still remembered my hub password!

I’m still in and out of collecting, for the most part i’ve slowed down but there’s still some SNES/SFC I’d like to get. Always will be – damn endless ocean.

Haha, yeah. Good ole VGcollect. Nice to hear from you again, Ghost.

I’d still love to see some of the Super Famicom manuals you have in your collection…
