This thread is hopefully going to be used by our members on a regular basis. All you do is list the Snes games you are wanting to collect for, then the members who see these can post links of sites or listings here that they may stumble across in the hope that it could potentially lead you to the game you require.
I’ll break it down in this example below;
I want – (title)Shadowrun – (region)US version – (complete/cart)Complete – (condition:sealed/mint/v.good/good/avg/any)Any
Obviously were looking for the best price whilst aiming to meet the basic criteria set by the members request. Im not resticting anyone to the example in terms of description. You can put any comments you want, set a price limit etc. You can put as many on the Want List as you like also but make sure that you actually do want them before posting. Just maybe we might see the end results on the ‘Post Your Snes Finds’ thread. I’ll do my best to help anyone who needs it. ![]()

OfflineAll i can say is Ebay and online stores. I dont think a thread like this will work. Few people have the time, or even will, to look for items on someone elses request. All you can really do is point them in the right direction, and then its up to them how much time and effort they want to spend finding those items.
It would be more productive to simply impliment Selling and Buying sub-forums.

OfflineWhile i think that your last sentence is very relevent im not sure it would be worth implementing such a scheme just yet. I think once the members get to know each other a bit better over time and additional members joining then a Buying and Selling sub-forum would be great.
On the other issue of time and will, well thats all down to the individual. Im not that fussed taking a couple of mins of my time to help someone out who wants a certain snes item, thats where years of searching the bay and other select sites make it alot less time-consuming then if you were starting out.
Its also a place where you can ask/check on the current market value of the title you desire. Its possible that you may be able to get it far cheaper then you would imagine. Or that its skyrocketed in price recently.
I accept that for some this is a complete non-entity but for newcomers or folks looking for something they don’t know much about or just can’t find at all then it might be useful.

OfflineThe problem is, if its not a readily available game or item, it takes more than ” a couple of minutes” to find something. Certain things ive not been able to find for years.

OfflineI’m trying to find EarthBound, Super Metroid, Star Fox, and Donkey Kong Country 2. I’m not picky about the conditions, as long as they play. However, I’ll take more complete versions if anyone can find them. Thanks.
Currently looking for the following SNES games:
Chrono Trigger
EarthBound
Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)
Secret of Mana
Illusion of Gaia
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
TMNT IV
Contra III

OfflineIn conjunction with the Trading Corner suggestion I hope with the approval of our kind administrator this place can become what I’ve hoped it would be from it’s inception – a place for SNES enthusiasts together to help build & establish our friendly gaming community and game collections at the same time.
I feel once we have a system in place and we get to know each other over a period of time that this goal can be realized. As Masamune said from the day this site was born, there are no other dedicated Fan Sites out there and I think it would be great to add a dedicated, honest and reliable trading zone for all our member’s to feel comfortable with on this great site.
