Hope everyone had a great and safe weekend.
I decided to do a play-through of my all time favorite SNES game: Super Mario RPG: The Legend of The Seven Stars. I started a new file back on May 13th to celebrate the games 24th anniversary (man that sounds crazy to say!). I always like to take my time with this one and really spend my time in each world, and practice leveling up before heading to the next. I am now one world away from the final boss.
What did you play this weekend? Anything new? If so, what did you think of it?

I have fond memories ofr Super Mario RPG. I borrowed the game from a friend in high school. Totally loved it. Bought it years later and would like to play it again someday.
Haven’t really been playing a whole heck of a lot. The last game I played was Resident Evil 2 remake on PS4.
I’ve been doing a whole lot of collecting games though.

I never got the chance to play Super Mario RPG, that and FF3 were deemed not worthy of a European release at the time 😵
Years later when I did discover it I wasn’t overly impressed at first but it’s a very solid game and I adore the writing and graphics.

Been playing the remake of Seiken Densetsu 3 on PS4 lately! Though it is not really a SNES game anymore I guess 🙂
Edit: It just crossed my mind that Super Mario RPG might be the last SNES game I bought… and it’s been years! Damn I’ve really been slacking ;D Pretty nostalgic game for me though.

Working much of this weekend but did finish off Lost Levels yesterday. Also played through the first stage of Batman Returns. Played some Mario Kart 8 and finished The Count Lucanor a few days ago though.

Ah, the Trials of Mana game. I picked up the Mana Collection for the Switch and wanna finished the 16-bit Trials before I’m tempted into getting the remake.

I finished the main game this weekend. They added some post-game classes and a new dungeon and boss in the remake. One of the games i’ve enjoyed the most this year for sure. I highly recommend it.

Yeah I’m going to get it. It’s just a case of when.
Not been playing much lately, a few games of Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U and some classic games on the Megadrive Collection; Columns, Bare Knuckle 3, Light Crusader, and Gunstar Heroes. I’m so glad they allow you to change from SoR to BK for the third entry, makes it a much more palatable game.
