With the recent HD remakes of Duck Tales and Castle of Illusion, it’s pretty clear that Disney is open to allowing their old games to be remade.
With that said, what SNES Disney game deserves the HD treatment?
My vote goes to Goof Troop. The game is great fun in multiplayer, though it can be challenging to find someone to play couch co-op with as an adult. Adding online multiplayer and some extra “challenge rooms” would make for a great package.
Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown

I know this post is about SNES remakes, but I wanted to voice my opinion that Rescue Rangers 2 and Ducktales 2 should be re-made in HD glory. Those two games should of came out on the SNES anyway with how late they were released in the NES active life cycle.
But they have to re-do the DuckTales 2 music. It’s was totally forgettable.

Having played the Duck Tales HD remake 99% through, I can attest that the music is redone tremendously. Capcom really brought out what made the level music special, and it’s as if extra attention was given to the Moon Theme to shine even brighter than the others. The only disappointing aspect was the tune made for the brand new level, which only appears in the remake. That was generic, but the rest was grand.
