What are your SNES games of the year for 2013?

Specifically:

  • What SNES game did you play the most?
  • What do you feel is the best SNES game overall?
  • What is your favourite “new” SNES game that you discovered for the first time?

 

For me, it is:

  1. R-Type III – I can’t get enough of this game!
  2. Super Metroid
  3. Arkanoid D’oh It Again! – I totally missed out on this game in 1997.  It’s not earth shattering, though it is definitely a fantastic example of how to update and expand upon an arcade classic.

1. Earthbound after years I finally got this game

2. Super Metroid

3 Final Fantasy 3/6 after discovering Final Fantasy 4 on PSP/Vita last year I ended up enjoying this one the most

This is a tough one for me. I didn’t play a whole heck of a lot of SNES games this year, but here goes:

 

1) I played the Firemen the most this year.

2) I still think Chrono Trigger is the best game overall.
