My AP English Composition class my junior year once had this discussion. I would be Mewtwo, since he is my favorite Pokemon of all=time. Psychic powers, ftw.

He is my favorite Pokemon in the game and he is one of the best developed characters in the anime, despite having few appearances.

Like my previous post suggests the one I remember from the cartoon was Team Rocket’s “WHEEEEZING!” or “CHAAAARBOK!”
Don’t think I went into impersonations but I remember they sounded something like that.
Also Team Rocket got their asses kicked on a daily basis which was funny and they’d always use Wheezing’s smokescreen attack to get away if they weren’t blasted away into the sky.

I never understood the cartoon. I did like doing onyx noises on occasion. It was really really funny sometimes ha ha

I remember coming home every day after school and the Pokemon anime would be on, so I’d watch it with my sister. Looking back, Ash was a little punk compared to Red, the protagonist from Red/Blue. I still enjoy the early seasons.

I was more into Dragon Ball Z and I didn’t really watch a whole lot of Pokemon but I did see the movies when I was a kid.. I guess that they weren’t too bad, but they weren’t really entertaining looking back at them now. didn’t a lot of kids get seizures from a certain part of 1 of the movies?

There was a tv episode with Porygon that caused the seizures. I don’t believe it was ever televised in America because of the seizures in Japan. I will say Dragon Ball Z was a better series than the Pokemon anime. I think it’s because DBZ was based off a manga, which in turn was based off one of the most famous pieces of Chinese literature. Pokemon was based off of the original games, which were good games, but didn’t have a great story.

I would want to be Pikachu since he is so endearing to me when I watched that TV series. This thread brings up some nostalgia for me. I remember watching the cartoon back in the early 2000’s. Only reason I looked at it the first time was because my little sister kept talking about it.
Watched it until about 2004 and got tired of it. By the way I loved the first movie, almost brought me to tears.
