OfflineOne of my favourite sites is Sega-16. They do some excellent “genre spotlights” where they literally give a brief synopsis of every game in a genre for the Genesis/Sega CD/32X (including imports).
To my knowledge, no such “spotlights” exist for the SNES and this could be a great resource hosted by the site. Could also be an opportunity for various contributors to work together.
You can check out Sega-16’s genre spotlights here: http://www.sega-16.com/tag/gen…..spotlight/

OfflineThat certainly sounds like a good idea. It’s gonna be a bit hard since the community here is still a bit small, but I think it’s certainly possible if enough people want to do it.

OfflineYes its certainly worth discussing. I think the main goal at this moment in time is to get a few full reviews of SNES games out each month though I admire your proposal.
For myself, I’d be more than happy to give a spotlight on lesser known games such as action-orientated Super Famicom games that are completely playable yet hardly known.

This sounds like an interesting idea RushDawg. I’ll look at the link you provided and think about the possibilities.
In general, Sega-16 would be a good source of ideas for the site. They’re by far the premiere Genesis resource out there.
Perhaps this will play out like the 16-bit wars, where Sega(16) comes first, but SNES(hub) ultimately does it better.
