I’ve already suggested it in the comments section of one of the review, but I’ll elaborate it here.

Basically, even though the Super NES was one of the better selling Nintendo systems, there are many people out there who didn’t get to experience it, whether it’s the younger gamers in which some of them weren’t even born during the Super NES’s heyday, or people who never really tried the system and it’s games out.

The article could include stuff such as:

-What are some of the defining games of the system.

-Why people still enjoy the system and it’s games to this day.

-What are some alternatives to getting an authentic Super NES system. Stuff like ports, the Wii VC, clone systems, etc, could be included. ROM’s are a bit of a gray area.

I wish I could, but sadly, there’s a lot of defining games on the system that I haven’t played yet. Maybe you or Mongunzoo can write the article since you guys have a lot more experience with the system than I do.

It’s a good idea for an article. It will be taken into consideration for the future.

Sorry to everyone on my lack of content lately.  Promise I am not slowing down!  But I wor for a grocery chain and this is our busy season.

The good news is that once the New Year is over we enter Slow Period, which will enable me to turn my full attention back to this site.

So to answer your question, I would look to have this article up sometime after the new year rings in.

I feel ya, Mongunzoo, the holidays are a hectic time for those in retail, especially in the grocery store business it seems. I worked at a health foods store for several years and this time of year severely dampened my enjoyment of the holidays. And I wasn’t even in management. I am very thankful to be currently managing a cafe where the stress is never too great.

So take your time with the article, I say. Those of us who have time will continue to write for the site. You do great work, and we can be patient in the mean time.

Just saw this!!!!  Lol!!!!!!

Her’s My question, guys, and why I have not yet done this article:  Between My 2012:  And the SNES is still Relevant and Masamune’s Beginning a retro game collection much of the content of this article has already been covered.

I could still do a piece on the defining games for the system, Cheap Overlooked Gems, and Big League purchases worth owning, as well as detail avenues of play such as Wii VC, clone systems and Emulation.

My question is would there be a demand for such an article with the other two already in existence?  If so I will have it done ASAP to make up for putting it on the backburner.

Sorry again!

Hi Mongunzoo. Using Marks 3 suggestions and reading your last comments I can tell you that for myself its probably irrelevant baring in mind the other articles. The last of those 3 points, regarding alternatives would be the one I would find most useful but is a whole article necessary or perhaps comments in a topic might suffice.
