Hi guys, today I got Zelda:Link’s Awakening through the post. It’s a wonderful game, one of my favorites of the series. I feel it’s a worthwhile adventure game and one that is a lot cheaper then most rpg’s available to the actual console. I’ll be playing it to completion using the Super Game Boy on my SNES over the coming week when I get chance. What I am proposing is writing a review of the game based on playing it via the SGB/SNES. If that would interest anyone, especially those that haven’t played the game yet then let me know. If this or other Game Boy games are off limits that’s fine, I can do a mini-review and put it in another topic. Any comments welcome, thanks.
I suppose it wouldn’t hurt just this once to have a GB review; as a special article. I would want you to include what enhancements the Super Gameboy provides this particular game. But after this I wouldn’t want anymore non SNES game reviews. To my knowledge, this is the only active fansite that does SNES reviews exclusively.
With that being said, what happens when there is a review for every North American released Super Nintendo game? We could do some SFC games, but naturally we would have to progress to another system. I’m leaning towards the NES, even though there are NES review sites and blogs coming out of the woodwork everyday, it seems.
I would welcome your Zelda: Link’s Awakening article GhostSweeper.

I sort of did this in my Super Game Boy Feature, but it would be interesting to read how the SGB alters and enhances the experience.

Yes, you did a marvelous job on that Super Gameboy article Mongunzoo. I think I want to experiment with a full fledged review for this particular game since it can be played on the Super Nintendo, and it’s probably the closest game to Link to the Past.
So you if want to make a review for Link’s Awakening Ghost, go ahead and I’ll post it up as long as it adheres to the guidelines. It’ll have to go into the articles section because it’s technically not a Super Nintendo game, and I’m not creating a new review section for other systems until we knock out all North American SNES releases first.

When we do finish reviews of all North American SNES games, I would think Super Famicom only games or Gameboy games would be the best systems to review next. I’m excluding the NES because Super Famicom is pretty much the same as the SNES and you can play Gameboy games on the Super Gameboy. You can’t play NES games on the SNES.

Should we include Pokemon Yellow in with Red/Blue or separately because it has significant differences?
