The 5×7 photo size has an aspect ratio of 5:7 which can slightly be modified when printing photographs shot on the 3:2 ratio to ensure the image is properly framed. According to Visuals Clipping, the photographer can be forced to trim a little on the image in order to ensure that the photograph is properly framed. This difference can be used to understand that one should not lose valuable details in the periphery of a photograph. The correct composition will make the end print balanced and pleasing to the eye.
