Every gamer has interesting stories about video game collecting. Some are good experiences, while others are not so good. Here are 5 interesting stories involving hunting for games.

Ummm I just remember how thrilled I was to finally get Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn. It’s one of those holy grail games that you just have to be able to find at the right price at the right time. Was able to snag it online for $125 at a time when it was fetching upwards of $175 so I felt like I had gotten the steal of a lifetime.

I think for me would be procuring mint copies of Nintendo Magazine issues 1-50 for $75 on Ebay. Boy was I happy regaining a staple of my childhood! I love hunting for gaming related stuff!

Yeah I would LOVE to have the complete GameFan magazine collection. Like an idiot I should have held onto mine back in the day. Those things fetch a pretty decent price on ebay. I just didn’t really think to save them cause they were just magazines. I saved everything else but those.

still trying to find a good copy that is cheap of Earthbound. The demand for the game is simply outrageous!

Hopefully we will see a Wii U virtual console release of Earthbound like Japan is getting. Let us all cross our fingers!

I wouldn’t hold my breath, but I do think if the demand is high enough it will release. That will surely drop the prices!

I’m also looking for the mythical affordable copy of Earthbound.  I heard that they’re rereleasing all three Mother games in Japan.  Maybe they will finally release the entire trilogy in the States?

Currently looking for the following SNES games:

Chrono Trigger

EarthBound

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

Super Mario RPG

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

 Zombies Ate My Neighbors

TMNT IV

Contra III

the closest news that has come out is that earth bound is going to be on the Japanese virtual console. if it does come out on North America Virtual Console it will take a long time. Sadly
