OfflineThought I’d share my recent experience because I’m still not sure if I’m happy or not. I’ve got a 2019 Grand Cherokee Summit that started making this annoying squeaking noise from the rear brakes about a month ago. Took it to a place near my office in Business Bay that came recommended by a colleague. They quoted me a decent price for new pads and said they’d do it the same day which was convenient. Anyway I picked it up and the noise was gone so I paid and left. Now about two weeks later I’m noticing a weird vibration through the floor when braking from highway speeds, like coming back from Abu Dhabi on Thursday. I’m wondering if they didn’t machine the rotors properly or maybe just didn’t bed the pads in correctly. It’s really frustrating because I thought I’d found a decent Jeep brake pad replacement workshop in Dubai but now I’m second guessing. Might have to take it somewhere else for a second opinion. Does anyone know if this is common after a brake job? Could it be something they did wrong or am I just being too picky?
