OfflineI agree 100% tkbryant, the “triple A console game market” is heading towards a crash, though the gaming industry as a whole isn’t going anywhere. Â Like you said, we’re in the middle of a big shift in the market.
Mong’s earlier point about us not needing new games is also quite true. Â I personally have no intention of jumping into this next generation of consoles. Â There’s enough of a backlog from previous generations to keep me more than busy.

At least the Dreamcast got a bunch of fun games in it’s 3 year lifespan (1998-2001), even if most of those games are ported now.
