Is there any way to play the PAL version of this game with a North American Super Nintendo? If so, how do I go about doing it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Ok, that’s another option. I heard about using the action replay to play Non-American games. Thanks for the link. How do you like the forum’s new look?

You could also do what we have been doing in europe, mod it region free and for 50 and 60hz.

I have Asperger's Syndrome, which means i can come across as rigid and overly argumentative. Please try and look past this and contact me if you have a problem with what/how i type. I type and read very literally and use no undertones. Thank you for trying to understand. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A.....r_syndrome

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve decided to go the reproduction route and we’ll see how it goes. laugh

By the way Grimm, do you know a lot about mods, hacks and homebrews?

The honest truth? Practically nothing. But i know which mod to get, in my opinion. The icarus switchless mod. It uses the resetbutton for all commands, and works with 100% of the games. Reproduction is good for fan translated games, but if there is an original playable title, id rather have that. Terranigma is quite expensive though, especially complete. I have yet to play or own that one.

This might be very helpful to people wanting to know about mods. Its a good site for UK retro gamers.

This site also has some neat gear.

I looked at the gamereproductions site for the first time in months and noticed he has a new LoZ fan hack game; ‘Legend of Zelda – Goddess of Wisdom’.

Also noticed a cancelled game for the EU/US market in the mid 90’s, a Final Fight type scrolling beat-em-up called ‘The Shadow’.

I cant speak for the mods the guy at consolepassion does, but he is outright difficult to communicate with via email. Ask him anything thats outside of the routine mod, and he knows nothing, he avoids clear and direct answers, and eventually just stop answering your emails alltogether.. He is also pretty expensive on everything he sells in the shop. Something to keep in mind.

Hmm… i will definately bare that in mind too. Ive not used the site before but a reference of bad comms isn’t a good start.

I should clarify that im not in any way endorsing that site, i merely thought it would be good reference for folks like me and others who know little to nothing about this subject. Its more a guide for people visiting the site who are unsure as to how its done or what it entails.
