OfflineI’ve done this route twice with family, here’s what actually works.
The standard Chardham circuit covers Yamunotri → Gangotri → Kedarnath → Badrinath, roughly 1,500–1,800 km total from Delhi depending on your stops.
Realistic breakdown:
- Delhi → Barkot (Yamunotri base): ~8–9 hrs
- Barkot → Uttarkashi (Gangotri base): ~3 hrs
- Uttarkashi → Sitapur/Sonprayag (Kedarnath base): ~6 hrs
- Sonprayag → Badrinath: ~5 hrs
Plan for 12–14 days minimum if you want proper darshan without rushing. May to June and September to October are the sweet spots to avoid monsoon months for mountain roads.
One practical tip: book your driver someone who knows hill terrain specifically. Flat-road drivers struggle on hairpin bends.
For a group of 10 to 12 pilgrims, hiring a tempo traveller in Delhi with a Pahadi-route experienced driver makes the entire yatra smoother and significantly cheaper than booking multiple cabs.

OfflineHi there. I stumbled upon this resource while searching for the best apps to use in the United Kingdom this year. The TraderAI App https://trader-ai-invest.com/ had some very positive feedback from other users. I’ve been using it for a month now and my balance is already up by quite a bit. I had a few bad experiences with other platforms in the past, but this one has been very reliable and consistent. I’m pleased.
