I would like to go to either South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, or maybe mainland China. I really like the culture and history of these places a lot and they all look very beautiful. Technically though, Hong Kong is actually a Special Administrative Region of China so from what I hear, the law is somewhat different over there than that of Mainland China’s, but I’m not entirely sure.

Now if there’s a place I would like to move to, that would probably either be Hong Kong or maybe South Korea. I’m not sure though. Both places seem pretty appealing.

I would like to visit japan, mainly for games and to oggle all the abnormally pretty women, and japanese sports cars.. But i dont think i will ever be able to.

I have Asperger's Syndrome, which means i can come across as rigid and overly argumentative. Please try and look past this and contact me if you have a problem with what/how i type. I type and read very literally and use no undertones. Thank you for trying to understand. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A.....r_syndrome

There are numerous places I’d like to visit. Italy, England, Spain, Hungary, Japan to name but a few.

When I was younger, I dreamed of living in Japan. I love the culture, anime, I think the women are very pretty, and it is the cradle of video game development. I studied the language in high school and college, but never kept my studies consistent enough to be fluent.

I’m not sure where I would want to live now besides my homeland. My passion for Japan died down over the years, but maybe playing SFC games can rekindle that passion once again.

I’ve never left the country, but I would love to see Italy, Mexico, Japan, Germany, France, and many others it would take too long to list.  As for living in them, I don’t think I would want to move out of my home state, but I’m a real homebody.

Currently looking for the following SNES games:

Chrono Trigger

EarthBound

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

Super Mario RPG

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

 Zombies Ate My Neighbors

TMNT IV

Contra III

Peru is amazing and a flight to Cusco is fairly reasonable compared to other S. American cities.

And the food is sensational……mmmmmmmmmmmm, Matambre…….

Cusco is also very close to Machu Picchu.

If you have time, you should also see Lima and take a boat to Iquitos to explore the dense jungle in the Basin.

I actually love living in Canada, though the list of places I’d like to visit is too long to list.

It must be awesome living in Canada. so much unspoiled wilderness……..

where do you live in canada? Are you in a metropolitan area like Montreal or Alberta, or a more Rural area like the Canadian Shield?(I know it is sparsely populated, but that is changing because of how rich in resources it is)

India is a place I have yet to cross off my bucket list. What part are you going to be seeing?

I live pretty close to Toronto and find myself in the city pretty regularly.  We do have a cottage a few hours north of Toronto that is in area that is both sparsely populated and full of unspoiled wilderness.  I don’t get out there often enough though!

I’ll be visting Goa, New Delhi and Calcutta (roughly in that order).

PS – Alberta is a province, not a city ;)

Ah, my mistake,thenembarassed

Canada is beautiful and I need to see more of it! I have only been once on a weekend fishing trip to Sarnia on Lake Huron.

As for India, I want to see Panaji’ beaches, as a friend raved about them! will you be near there?

Do you live in Michigan?

I’m guessing that most American tourists in Sarnia do.  Lake Huron is beautiful in the summer time, though Sarnia itself isn’t too exciting.

Next time you come to Canada, I’d recommend checking out either one of the coasts or Montreal.

I’ll be in Goa, so there’s a good chance we’ll check out Panaji’s beaches.  I’ll definitely be going to a beach when I’m in that part of the country.

Do you have any travel plans?

Thank you. I’ll do that since I can only imagine how awesome the Canadian coastline must be….. Sarnia is definitely laid back, but that was the point lol!

I am currently planning a trip to Ireland, so hopefully I will be able to get time to do that.

All interesting responses, guys. A lot of places that you guys mentioned seem also appealing.

I take it that most, if not all people who posted in this thread would go to these places for recreational purposes. For me, however, I’m planning to move to another country since America seems to be going down the tubes at a pretty fast pace. To me, there’s no use in sticking around when the country collapses.

Decline is the current trend, and not just in America; You could say that up until this point the United States has been relatively insulated because we are the center of the world economy. All the money flows through here.

If you think that there are problems here, it only gets worse outside of the United States. So many economic problems (unique to each region) also means that most nations are getting stricter on who gets to enter their economy. If you plan on moving it would be wise to have a unique set of marketable skills such as engineering or medical to even have a chance at staying.

Gotta go with Mon on this one…the whole world is in a state of decline. Although I loved Japan and would give anything to live in Tokyo but it’s just not financially viable without the right type of job.
