Spent a week at my son’s house, and I had a chance to use their Dyson V8 stick. I was quite impressed, so I looked up reviews. Never heard of Timeco before, so naturally I was hesitant. But all the reviews were good. And guess what? This one is, too! We’ve lugged around that Hoover for many years up and down the carpeted stairs. Certainly, there was no way a cordless Hoover would top the Hoover, right? Oh, sweet reader, let me dissuade you from that notion as I was. Cat hair? Boom! Gone! Cat litter? Poof! It picked up dirt even after we used the Hoover!

This thing is powerful, with attachments I doubt I’ll ever use. But they’re there! And there’s a place for them too! I was ready to build a shelf to put the attachments, but there’s a neat little thing that sticks to the base that holds all the attachments you’ll need – and not need. No, it’s not a Dyson, but it’s a few hundred bucks cheaper, and in my opinion works just as well. Bonus: the house is even cleaner now because it’s so simple to pick up the Timeco and suck up the dirt than leave it for the end of the week.
