There are a lot of Batman games out there in existence. Not all of them are good, sadly to say. How does this Konami effort stack up? Click here to find out.

Great review! It’s as i suspected, I should of got this long ago. It’s on my Want List which I’m fixing to make some headway through. Looking at some of the screenshots, I can just imagine Harley’s voice saying “Hello, hello. This is the Joker Channel” and the fairground roller-coaster battle looks pretty slick. Good work Masamune.

A lot of nostalgia here in your review, I like it!
Batman is a character that speaks to kids and adults, even to this day! The new movies make Batman hot again and I can tell from reading your review that this game lives up to the Batman standards!
I like that the game has a password system. That’s a big plus! I think I will add this game to the list of “games to get”
It’s hard to chooses which one to get first…there are so many great titles I still need to play!

Good review and good game, but I think the Genesis version is a little better (despite being a lot harder).
The Genesis version is a Gunstar Heroes clone is it not, a run n gun shooter where Batman & Robin just fire bat-erangs at the enemies. Not saying it’s inferior but the SNES one appears to have the better variety of gameplay. Still the Sega one does have some great boss sequences. ‘Tea Time’ was the best stage imo. Complete with giant mechanical Cheshire Cat boss and an excellent psychedelic Mad Hatter showdown battle. Why did they omit him from the SNES game.
