Like many famous athletes in the 90s, Brett Hull, a offensive powerhouse for the NHL, received his own game. This one may have gotten lost in the shuffle with many NHL-loving video game players back then, so read this review to get up to speed.

I just have one question: Where is Eric Lindro’s video game??

Nice review.  I have always been curious about this game but never bothered with it (mainly because EA’s NHL games were so good and I felt burned by NHL Stanley Cup).  Sounds like this one is worth a look.

Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown

I would give BHH a go-round if you like top-down hockey sims. Its gameplay was much closer to the NHL series than Stanley Cup. It was a pleasant surprise for me, especially since I’ve learned to never get my hopes too high before trying a pro athlete endorsed sports game.

As I advise in the review: turning ‘off-sides’ off may be necessary!

Although technically not endorsed by the man himself, there is no mistaking who is on the cover art.

The N64 version of NHL 99 is my favorite hockey game of all time. I even reviewed it on an N64 fansite coupla years ago:
