OfflineWith the myriad of mascot driven video games of the 1990s, it was rather hard to stick out if it didn’t have Mario or Sonic in the title. Yet Earthworm Jim stood out with its unique artistic style and intriguing title character. Could the gameplay match the quality of the visuals? Read here to find out.

OfflineThis is a good, fair review. Earthworm Jim was a bit of a case of style over substance, though the core gameplay was always (at worst) solid. Its style is very 90’s, making it very much a product of its time. It’s definitely worth checking out though, if only to experience its bizarre humour.

OfflineThey look, sound an play pretty similar. The SNES version looks slightly better, though the Genesis version arguably has better music (this is somewhat subjective). That said, the Genesis version is better overall simply because it has an extra level.
