Mega Man was a very popular series on the NES. The latter iterations on the Nintendo made the franchise seem stale. However, Capcom refreshed the series with welcome changes when it debuted for the Super Nintendo. Check out the review here and discuss your own opinions on this game.

This is Capcom’s best non-port SNES game, far and away. I’m really interested in reading its press coverage back in 1993, when it was called “Super Mega Man” (the “Electronic Gaming Monthly” issue with Bubsy on the cover called it that) and people were about to see where the franchise would go next. Headlines about future entertainments are fun to read when they’re in hindsight.
