Good writeup. I’ll always remember this game as the one that got me into A/RPGs. The game was so good it led to me paying 90 bucks to play an english-translated cart of the sequel.

I didn’t like this game. I brought it to play with my sister, since up to three people could play together. I hadn’t seen a feature like that in a RPG before or since. Maybe that’s a good thing because playing with somebody else frustrated the heck out of me. I tried it a couple times with my sister and I gave up on it and sold it.
