SNES only gamers missed out on a hell of a game in Rocket Knight Adventures. But we at least got the sequel, Sparkster. See if it’s worth playing here.
And if you haven’t already, check out the original. It’s worth it.
I checked the prices for this game on both the SNES and Genesis and I was kinda surprised to see it goes for a pretty penny. The Genesis one had a buy it now on Ebay for $89.99 I think it was. The SNES cart I saw one for $49.99.
I’ve paid big bucks for a video game before, but I’m wondering if either edition is worth the price of admission?

At those prices, I’d say no. Both games are “good” but not $50 to $90 good and both fail to live up to the greatness of the original Genesis game.
Do you own Rocket Knight Adventures? It’s much cheaper than the Sparkster games. I’d recommend starting there first.
Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown
Yeah, I have the original. Thank goodness you can still get that CIB in mint condition for $15 or less, but that’s one of the appealing things about Genesis games in general.
I also heard the two games were different from each other, not a surprise given it’s Konami we’re talking about. Anyone play both? Comparisons? Speaking of which, maybe some in depth comparison articles are in order …
