Super Mario Kart was one of the first Super Nintendo games to really popularize kart racing. I personally had endless hours playing this game with my siblings. Here is the review. Share your experiences.

This game is great, and Mongunzoo really gets what makes it so.
I first played SMK when I was at my cousin’s house in Christmas of 2002. “Game Informer” ran a retro-games section in an issue around the time where they related strategies for the game, and the pictures inspired me to try the game out when I had the chance. They were the first to teach me to avoid sinking in Koopa Beach by not driving over the dark-blue spots in the water.

I usually don’t like racing games, but the Super Mario franchise changed all that. I believe I bought Super Mario Kart in ’96 for $30 at ToysRUs with my allowance. Me and my youngest sister played that thing everyday.
Totally a lot of fun with this one. the N64 one and the Gamecune one.
