Though this game was a completely different animal from its predecessor Super Mario World, this game shined in its own way. Check out the review here and tell us what you think.

Possibly the best looking game on the system and definitely one of the most fun.  I’ve gone back and forth on this over the years, but I think that Super Mario World was overall the better game.

Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown

I agree, rush. the only reason I will end up getting this game is because my wife loved it as a child. I honestly can’t stand when baby Mario cries it is the worst noise in the world.

The link to the review isn’t working for me.  I agree that baby Mario’s cry is horrid.  I’ve never played it on SNES, but I’ve beat it a couple of times on GBA.

Currently looking for the following SNES games:

Chrono Trigger

EarthBound

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

Super Mario RPG

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

 Zombies Ate My Neighbors

TMNT IV

Contra III

The link was bad. I just fixed it.

By the way, I used to have two copies of this game. Now I see the cart going for $20 or more and now I wish I kept at least one! mad

SNES stuff is hot hot hot!!!! price-wise. If your partial to selling then now seems as good a time as any. I’m a gamer and collector though so I won’t sell any of my stuff until I’m very old and in need of spare parts! I sold some stuff many years ago when the N64 era was dawning and I regretted it big time so I won’t go that route again unless completely necessary.
