Here’s a good run and gun game that doesn’t get a lot of publicity. The Turrican series has appeared on several systems and has you manning up in a cyber-suit kicking alien tail! Read the review here and tell us what you think of the game or the review!

Great review.  The entire Turrican series doesn’t seem to get a lot of respect.

 

Regular Turrican on the Genesis is pretty bad, but both Super Turrican and Mega Turrican (Genesis) are awesome!

 

Sadly, $20 is actually a fairly reasonable price for a high-quality SNES game on eBay.  That’s why the Virtual Console is so awesome.
