Topic RSSWhile many mainstream SNES gamers know Super Mario Kart and F-Zero like the back of their hand, there are loads of Super Nintendo racing games that may not get the recognition they deserve.
Here at SNES Hub, every game is going to receive their time in the sun. It’s Top Gear 2 time now.

OfflineAs always, I enjoyed your review. This is not a game I’m familiar with. I am aware the Top Gear 3000 game though. It’s reviews like these that give gamers insights to a game they may not have ever heard of.
This site will become a valuable resource to people looking for new SNES games as we flesh out the catalog. And that can’t be understated.

OfflineI finished reading the review. You make a good argument for the game, jrsupermoore, and I admit I once tried this game out myself. It was after I saw it make IGN’s Top 100 Super NES Games list, at number 96 or something. I had fun with it, but I ultimately stopped playing because it felt too realistic for my tastes. I started having the sensation that I was doing something in a video game that I could just as easily do in real life, even though “Top Gear 2” lets you drive a sports car.
Racing games I enjoy, like “Super Mario Kart” or “Crazy Taxi”, let the player drive cars in ways that feel like awesome fantasies. I just didn’t get enough of that feeling from “Top Gear 2”.
