One of the most popular super hero teams in comic history had many outings on video game consoles. Can X-men Mutant Apocalypse live up to its outstanding comic book roots? Find out here.

I loved playing that game at my cousins’ house when I was younger. I’ll likely end up buying it before the year is out.
Currently looking for the following SNES games:
Chrono Trigger
EarthBound
Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)
Secret of Mana
Illusion of Gaia
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
TMNT IV
Contra III

I remember not liking this game as a kid. Maybe I’ll go back to give it a second look.
I used to play a lot of Spider-man / X-Men in Arcade’s Revenge; a terrible game. It was one of the few games I owned as a kid.
Overall, I’d say the Genesis has the better X-Men games (especially X-Men 2).
Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown

there was an arcade X Men game that I really love, but I cannot remember the name of it.
I have that arcade game on PSN. It simply is called X-Men and I liked it too growing up. But nothing tops the arcade experience for me like Captain America and the Avengers! Loved that game. Wish they come out with the arcade version on Xbox live or PSN.

Is that the same X-Men that was on Genesis/MD where you could play as one of either Wolverine, Gambit, Nightcrawler or Cyclops? That game was seriously rock hard.
Capt. America & the Avengers was a terrible port on both SNES and MD but I agree there’s just a degree of charm about it. The graphics and sound fx are Master System standard at best however. I always used to be Vision as I’d never heard of him and knew nothing about the character.

Nope. The arcade game is completly different and you could play as Wolverine, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Storm, and Dazzler. The arcade game is made by Konami while the Genesis X-men game was made by Sega.
