I was thinking the other day how neat games would look in other art styles.  The Legend of Zelda series is noted for having very diverse art styles between games.  My favorite art style in the Zelda series is The Wind Waker’s style.  I would love to see what Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess would look like in the WW style.  I’ve looked at a lot of fan art online and I think the characters look great.  It probably won’t happen, but I would like to see these games.

Currently looking for the following SNES games:

Chrono Trigger

EarthBound

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

Super Mario RPG

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

 Zombies Ate My Neighbors

TMNT IV

Contra III

That style in HD would be sick. I definitely would love to see a more dark theme. A link to the past re made today would be awesome.

I love the look of Oni link from MM. actually, I really loved the art style of MM in general.

I liked the Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask style.  MM was darker, but it reflected the story.  It reminds me of anime.

Currently looking for the following SNES games:

Chrono Trigger

EarthBound

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

Super Mario RPG

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

 Zombies Ate My Neighbors

TMNT IV

Contra III

I can’t post images from my phone, but this is the scene that sticks out to me when I think of MM

The Inside of the Moon was so out of place, yet it fit perfectly.  It was so peaceful compared to the rest of Termina, yet it fit in because it was so bizarre.

Currently looking for the following SNES games:

Chrono Trigger

EarthBound

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

Super Mario RPG

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

 Zombies Ate My Neighbors

TMNT IV

Majora’s Mask did everything so incredibly different than any other Zelda game, yet it was superb.

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

sometimes different is good as long as they take the right approach to the game. I really like the time traveler aspect and the fact that the really weren’t that many dungeons in the game but there was a lot of stuff to do.

It’s funny you mentioned A Link to the Past in a different art style. I was thinking how the SNES Zelda would look with Ocarina of Time graphics. I’m sure as  time goes along, people will make hacks for Zelda games that would make it resemble other games in the series visually.

To me, ALttP and OoT are very similar to each other and it would be great to see what each game looked like in the other’s style.

Currently looking for the following SNES games:

Chrono Trigger

EarthBound

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

Super Mario RPG

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

 Zombies Ate My Neighbors

TMNT IV

Contra III

EarthBound

Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV)

Secret of Mana

Illusion of Gaia

Super Castlevania IV

Super Mario RPG
