Offlinei recently bought an original SNES console and some games, all my games work perfectly fine.. however my Act Raiser game at the intro of the game , the Act Raiser logo kinda skips and doesn’t move smoothly like i remember back in 1991 🙂 .. Also once the logo stops for the main screen , the main screen is all garbled , this definitely never happened from my memories as a kid. If I hit start the game works fine 🙂 ! So i decided to buy another Act Raiser cartridge, and guess what the same thing happened!! the SNES console is USA based and is model SNS-001 , same one i had as a kid with my Act Raiser in 1991.. I’m pretty technical and this is not a contacts issue although i cleaned the contacts on both cartridges with qtip and alcohol, then eraser.. at first with the first cartridge i thought the game cartridge was damaged, then when i got the 2nd cartridge from ebay with the same issue i’m left scratching my head… has anyone seen something similar ? how could this happen now vs not happening way back in 1991 it is so weird, again it’s just the intro that is having issues LOL , see link for pics of the issue

Offlinesystem is brand new and cleaned from ebay from reputable seller of classic consoles. again over 20 games perfect. this is just very weird, i fired up my recalbox on my raspberry pi and the .rom for Actraiser and it was fine no issues. also found some other games i bought on snes, nes, gensis and n64 i have were so bad off i had to dremel the contacts 🙂 , you have to use the right buffering head something soft, but dremeling contacts gets them 99.9% like new, so i’ve dremel all my games across all my consoles now, after dremeling i rub them with qtip and alcohol also. anyway did that with these 2 act raisers and still the same. it’s almost like a bug in the firmware of the snes and/or the game cart has magically appeared over the decades. so weird.
