Star Fox 2 is probably the best known high profile game. I would also like to add any accessories that were cancelled.

The Shadow, a Batman Returns style scrolling fighter that was scheduled for a SNES release then was cancelled. That should be included as well.

I doubt they would make a game incorporating elements left out, if anything they would completely make 1 from the ground up. I just doubt that any game would stand up to the original Super Mario World…
maybe if it had double the exits and 10 times the over world, very clever level design and secrets.. a multitude of new enemies in power ups and costumes etc.. honestly if it was just an extension of the old original game I would be happy.

There IS a mod called Return to Dinosaur Island that uses many of the unused assets, but the level design uis prety uninspired.

They do. The New ones are made by Nintendo EAD.

Return To Dinosaur Land didn’t look too inspiring to me though I haven’t played it you can see plenty of footage on youtube. I did gamble and buy a reproduction of Zelda: Parallel Worlds but I didn’t like that as much as I thought I would. It’s since been sold.

Remodel? Do you mean the one with a fairer save state system?
I think mine was the first one t3tr1s, I bought it couple of years ago and it was sold a few months after.
