I use a Mac, so I could take YouTube screenshots.  Masamune did say that, so I may give that a try.

As for Super R Type, I love it too!  It suffers from slowdown like most early SNES shmups, but it is still a lot of fun.  Will have to save the rest of my thoughts for the full review.

Now playing: SNES - Phalanx, R-Type III, Genesis - Bio Hazard Battle, PS3 - Dragon's Crown

Also, good point about the Turtles being comic book heroes.  The games are clearly based on the cartoon continuity, but I’d still count it as a comic book game.

Not really played many of them. Capt.America & the Avengers is a fun game but it’s not good if I’m honest. Maximum Carnage I found was very average. I’ll go with Batman Returns because it’s a brilliant game despite being only 1player.

War of the Gems is a 1-on-1 fighter is it not? Is that any good and how does it compare to others of the same ilk? If you’re into mixing old school gaming with newer casual experiences, some people also like titles like manok na pula mod apk when they just want something light and entertaining on the side.

I totally get what you mean some of those classic superhero games are fun for nostalgia, but they don’t always hold up that well. Batman Returns is a solid pick because it actually feels polished and enjoyable even as a single-player experience. War of the Gems is more of a one on one fighter with a unique style, but it’s not quite as tight or memorable as the bigger fighters of its era.
