The Sporting News Baseball is an excellent game if you’re into baseball, as it a very cool view perspective, and is pretty slickly made all around. Great music, sharp graphics, and actual MLB licensed players. It might be a bit less arcade-y than KGJ MLB, but it’s a great option if you’re looking to play more baseball on the SNES.

Capcom Soccer Shootout is the best arcade-style soccer game on the system, in my opinion. ISS is so damn hard! (but I do enjoy it)

Nolan Ryan Baseball is actually really surprisingly fun, because it’s got this chibi style artwork that you’d never expect.

Has anyone played Mega Man soccer? I’m wondering if that’s any good?

Ummm, I played a lot of it as a kid on rentals. I have a soft spot for it, but it’s honestly kind of slow-paced and unexciting. It’s cool that you get to build your own team out of various Mega Man characters with different attributes, but there are ultimately better soccer games on the SNES.

Ok. Yes, I agree it would have been nice to customize a team from Mega Man franchise staples, but if it’s only average, then it’s not worth the price it currently commands.

I’m not really a sports guy. I was always more of a platformer and RPG kind of guy. But I’m going to give a couple of sports games a go this year and review them here for the site.

Oh yes, I wasn’t even factoring in current value. Definitely not worth that. Super Bowling and The IREM Skins Game are also pretty fun. Super Bowling is super silly, and Skins Game is well made with some great tunes.

Has anyone played “Dig & Spike Volleyball”? Any good, worth getting for 2P fun?

“I.S.S. Deluxe” is the best Soccer game I’ve played on the SNES. I quite like “Serie A – Ace Striker”, an SFC import, but only as a 2-player as the CPU is rock solid.

Dig N Spike is solid, if unspectacular, from what I remember. It should be a cheap pick-up, so I’d say grab it! It’s a little better than the other volleyball game, Hyper V-Ball, I think.

Dig n’ Spike looks the better game, if I see it cheap i’ll try and pick it up.

Hyper V-Ball is below-average. Why would anyone make a side-on view for a volleyball game. What’s worse is the snail-paced gameplay. It’s just quite boring tbh. There’s also Super Beach Volley on import to consider but I haven’t played that.

Heh, yeah, I was puzzled at the choice of perspective in Hyper V-Ball, too. In a way, it was kind of endearing, like “oh how novel, they chose this weird side view to make a volleyball game”. But you’re right, it doesn’t play that well.

Hi there, my goal was to afford a luxury watch, so I began experimenting with AI-assisted trading. At first, I faced repeated failures, but eventually a calculated risk paid off. That’s when I came across spinmama app, and I tried roulette. The mix of suspense and small wins made it genuinely fun. I now use it regularly whenever I need a quick break.
