No, not Mario paint either, this one is a difficult one, and perhaps my clues are quite hard as well, but hey i dont really get the clues you guys give either so there you go!

5. One cool thing about the girl is that she gets a different special ability depending on what animal she’s dressing up as, which is needed to get through the game. Only released in Japan.

All the clues seem to point to ‘The Violinist of Hamelin’ a Japanese exclusive that’s not obscure but is certainly pushing the boundaries

Well tbh I’ve wanted to delve into something other then US exclusives for a while. It doesn’t help that I only have about 6 US titles – the rest I have are either PAL or Jap’. I know I’m well in the minority on this though.
