Wow. I love the Fist of the North Star anime. I’m still upset that the entire TV series didn’t get English dubbed. How will you play the RPG? With a translation guide?

Yeah If I get round to it, there’s a fair few of games I haven’t played yet. For games like Maka Maka and G-O-D what I did was take relevant info from several guides on the net and make my own compacted guides which I printed out and used when I needed to refer. To be fair the first couple of days are somewhat of a chore but the menu’s became second nature to me and I could get through with a lot less interuptions then when I first started. An english repro of the Fist of the North Star rpg would be neat.

Just ordered a snes , which brings the totall number to three(!) Am I sad?
Sealed the deal quickly. Price was to good to pass up. Fresh white and all clean and complete. Oh, and it vomes with a copy of Mario Allstars. I feel like a kid in a toy store :) To think the price they went for back in the old days, this really is a steal. 30us

Good deal, its never sad to have more snes products in your home. I find it sad when supposed ‘gamers’ don’t even know what a Super Nintendo is…oh-boy

When you find people like that, try to get them to try it.

To this Day I have never had a modern gamer turn his nose at Super Metroid and Mario World.

You guys are right :) there is still much love for these games and when people are introduced to them they know.
Speaking of Super Metroid, just got it! And it is a very unique game indeed. My “problem” at the moment is deviding my time. I just got Secret of Mana, Terranigms and Super Probotector also. I want to play all of them at the same time but I do myself a favour if I choose one I guess. All these games are reccomendations from you guys here…thanks!! Will let you know my thoughts when I’ve played them.

Hey Tom. Let me know how you get on with Secret of Mana. I’ll always champion that game because it’s near perfect and it’s so freakin’ amazing when you go through it for the first time.

Sure will, they look great on the site though and getting the whole caboodle sealed too, you can’t ask for more really though I hope the game functions properly laugh

I must admit to being tempted by a few other titles. Mystic Quest Reborn looks quite appealing.

They offer a lifetime warranty on their games. So if it ever malfunctions, let them know and they will make it right. After I pay some bills, I’ll order one and see how it goes.

Yeah I meant it functioning when I play it for the first time. The last thing I want to do is send it back to the US but you make a good point, although you pay a premium his products look miles better then anything else I’ve seen available and with the added bonus of a lifetime warranty you can’t go far wrong. Really looking forward to playing this, I like the horror genre and the SNES isn’t blessed with too many. If anyone still play’s their NES system I might also point out he has what’s generally considered the precursor to Resident Evil, the first ever survival-horror game released back in 1989 and previously Japanese only…. Sweet Homeevil-grin

Clock Tower is Stupendous and it genuinely scared me the first time I played it!  My favorite part about it is the game changes every time you play it!  Different stuff happens based on your actiuons, and things are randomized forcing you out of the speedrun routine on subsequent playthroughs.

If you haven’t started yet, you might want to play through Soulblazer and Illusion of Gaia first before playing Terranigma, since they are ‘spiritual’ predecessors to Terranigma.  I’ve played the first two, and I have Terranigma and want to play it, but I just haven’t found the time yet.

Welcome, Bardoly. Does Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma have anything in common storywise like characters, towns, enemies, etc?

Had a number of new goodies since last I posted here. SNES stuff first, others follow. Click the links to see the price/condition etc.

This game is the only Baseball game I currently own on any console, mainly because I know naff-all about the sport. Id never heard of it nor seen a copy but it has a classic black n white photo of an old japanese team on the cover. It goes nicely with my SFC collection. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1708…..1439.l2649

This is an Igo puzzle game, one of a pair in its own mini-series. This one is Goliath with the later scarcer one subtitled Idaten. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1809…..1439.l2649

A Japanese wrestling game, I already have a number of these but not this one so thought why not? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1709…..1439.l2649

My first PAL game I bought in some time. Been after the Lost Vikings for a while so was pleased the seller accepted my offer. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1109…..1439.l2649

A Genesis game, completely compatible with my MD like most early titles, this is a quality 2-player game called Pigskin Footbrawl. Reminds me of Blood Bowl by Games Workshop. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1109…..1439.l2649

Another Genesis game, Wolfchild is available on other systems but with little variation between any of them. I plumped for this US one as it not only plays perfectly on my MD but may possibly have the best cover on any American box from the 16-bit era surprised http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1209…..1439.l2649

Yep, sure did. It took longer to arrive than expected but was kept informed as to when it would be shipped and arriving etc. so was happy to wait an extra week or two. All in near perfect condition, Ive opened the seal on one side to get at the contents. Everything as described – map/poster/cart/manual/box insert all included. So overall I’m very happy with the product I received. I’ll have to find time to get some serious play time in on this game!

smileAbsolutely, but just not yet. What I want is to take pics of my entire collection at the same instance which will save time and then post them on imageshack. I will get round to it though it does mean a big clear out which i have little motivation for today. Sometime this week – it’s a priority as I’ve wanted to post some pictures for a while now.
