Wow, you’re a review machine!

I’m looking forward to your take on FF3.  For me, the FF games seem a little less magic and a little more flawed every time I go back to them.

Hey, guys! I’m back (to reviewing!)

Just submitted a review for Stunt Race FX. I’m gonna be either working on a review for either Alien 3 or Uniracers.

I know what you mean. I purchased Final Fantasy VII a couple months ago to re-live the time I had with it when it first came out. I can’t believe I thought the graphics were beautiful back then. They’ve aged horribly, I almost can’t believe it. At least the story is still good.

Welcome back mark! looking forward to your Stunt Race FX review! Can you believe that I have never played it? How did THAT happen lol!

@ Masamune and RushDawg: The most interesting thing that I find about FF3 is that it was really the standard-bearer for NewSquare in the sense that it was the first FF in America that revolved the gameplay around the story. So the storytelling and pacing better be pretty good in order to keep ME involved!

Is it? We’ll just have to see………

As for 7, I hear it is good, but have yet to play it. One day……

Added Screenshots to Jaki Crush, Pocky And Rocky, Illusion Of Gaia, and FF3. Will add Demon’s Crest and Finish Super Scope Pics tonight.

Then its off to finish Super Bomberman. As a side note The Tristar Super 8 article has been put on the backburner pending further testing, since I recently had a totally different experience than the last time with the same game. I need to test it out more to ensure a quality review!

UPDATE: The “Mega Man 7” review is finished, with screenshots.

I wanted to save this announcement for when I submitted the “Mega Man 7” review and not just finished it, but I’m anxious. Now that I’ve completed that review, my original queue is finished and I will soon start another one. I will be reviewing “Earthworm Jim”, “Firepower 2000”, “Goof Troop”, “Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse”, “Mega Man X3”, “Plok!”, and “Toy Story”.

I can rearrange things to avoid overlapping with any games other people want to review.

Thanks for the update!

I’m especially looking forward to your Firepower 2000 review; one of the few vertical shmups and one of the few “Euro shmups” on the SNES.

I’ve noticed that most of the reviews on the site are four or five stars.

In order to balance things out a bit, once I get done with R-Type III and Phalanx, I’m going to review Vegas Stakes and NHLPA ’93 (spoiler: these games won’t be getting four stars or higher).

Yeah, funny, innit? I submitted a one-star review as part of my first queue, and I hope to see it up sometime.

The reason for this natural proclivity stems from human nature.

1.Good games are typically easier to review, and you don’t feel like you are wasting your precious time on bad games.

2.There are many many MANY good games that not many people outside the hardcore fans of a system know about (Plok is a good example). I find it more useful to highlight these experiences rather than rip apart a bad game.

That said, I have highlighted 10 terrible games, and I will eventually write a review for each and every one of them.

Pray for me……

After I wrap up my Sonic Blastman review, I’ll do a review for The Firemen. Spanky’s Quest and Batman Forever will have to wait.
