Welcome to the hub WildLifeWarrior.
Yeah Link to the Past and the Mario series are top games for the snes. I do like Mario World but you can’t beat getting a mate over and playing through Mario 3 again.
TV and movie-wise we don’t have much in common till you said Batman: the animated series, thats the awesome series from the mid-90’s with Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman and Mark Hamill as Joker etc. Roddy McDowell as the Mad Hatter was also exceptional. Great series, i remember they got Mr. Freeze just about perfect. The atmosphere and violence was refreshing for a cartoon aimed at kids, one of my favourite animated shows.

I also liked Mario 3 more than Super Mario World. I think it’s the better game.
Hey everyone,
Steve from RVGFANATIC.com here. Can I just say, this kind of community effort driven SNES site has been long overdue? I remember when I first launched my site back in January 2007 thinking where were all the SNES fansites? Surprisingly, very few joined the ranks over the next 5 years. So it’s good to see one come out in the vain of SEGA-16. Things are definitely off to a solid start over here. Quite frankly, I’m still shocked there aren’t more SNES sites out there considering how many people still love playing and talking about the system today, but goes to show you it’s incredibly hard work to start and maintain a site! I guess it takes a certain level of insanity as well, but we webmasters wear that badge with honor and pride :p
I’ll be popping in and out. Just wanted to finally sign up and say hello to all my fellow SNES fanatics.

Hey its our old friend Kikko! How are you Steve, also love your site btw. I remember reading it years ago and to some extent it provided some inspiration for my own quest for snes greatness. I really like this site too, its not that busy yet but your more then welcome bud. Theres some very knowledgable and very friendly folks here so you should drop by when you get the chance.
Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. Mongunzoo, I had no idea my site helped inspire you to create SNES-STOP. That’s pretty humbling, haha. Yes, I hope to add in a contribution here and there as time permits. It’s nice to see an SNES site in the vain of Sega-Saturn.com (one of my all-time favorite gaming sites) and SEGA-16.
Hey Ghost, I’ve been reading your takes on GameFAQS for years now, and I’ve always felt like you know your stuff and you’re a good writer, too. Would love to see you contribute some pieces here 🙂

Thankyou thats very nice of you to say. To be honest ive always had an itch to do a review of a snes game but just never got round to it for one reason or another. I have a few in mind that i think i might like to write about as my first one, would any of the current members have any stronger preference to any of the following:
Nobunagas Ambition – Lord of Darkness (Strategy by Koei)
Gunman’s Proof (ActionRPG by Ascii)
GS Mikami (Platformer by Banalex)

hi all!
Great to see a fresh website that talks about the great super nintendo system!
I’ve been playing this console from the start and I still do today and I enjoy it as much as ever! Only playing the games I’ve already had and recently I started buying (new) games for the console.
One thing I can say about me is that I’ve always been very careful with my games. When I got a new game I took it out of the box and the box went into a drawer and the game into a nintendo game bag so the games are still dustfree to this day!
I like it when friends drop by and the response they give when they see the snes next to the xbox 360: What’s that old thing doing there…does it even work? Then I put Mario Allstars in the snes and turn it on…it works! And how! This baby is fast! No loading times no downloading updates etc. Just put it in and play. Those vivd colors, the all so familiar music, the perfect controller everything works. And it won’t take long before I start to see a smile on their faces as they play classic snes.
That’s why I still play this great system!
I hope to play this system for many years to come. I also bought a 2nd snes and it’s installed next to my other snes so I’m good to go if you are!

Hi Tom, welcome to the community! I also like to engage in the snes so look forward to your contributions. Im glad you take care of your boxes, i thought i was ocd about mine some arn’t that minty but ive pretty much got to the point now where i won’t buy a game unless its fully complete in v.good con at least! Yep no loading times, no hour long cut-scenes, no DLC. Just good ol’fashioned fun and boy doesn’t it make you weep for the current gen getting grifted. A few years ago i got back into my snes ‘big time’ and haven’t looked back since. Got the games i remembered from my childhood then discovered the hundreds upon hundreds that i never even knew existed. Im always on the look for undiscovered gems or obscure games that no-one has played in addition to the bigger names and companies. Glad you’ve joined, if i can be of any help don’t hesitate to ask.
