Let me just add that your site has been INVALUABLE to me back when I first began dipping my toes into importing!  Glad you could join in!

Wow, thanks! I don’t get a lot of feedback about my site, actually. It’s nice to read comments like this.

Welcome Tonindo. Game remixes are something I can appreciate. I used to listen to those OverClocked ReMixes a number of years ago and always found something I enjoyed. Snes rpg’s are amazing, I see them as the pinnacle of 2D role-play. Sadly all too many are lost in the sea of japanese. It’s a shame but there are sites that can offer english translations of ‘lost’ rpg’s on actual snes carts so you don’t have to go the emulator route. For me there’s nothing better then playing a proper game in the original console.

Agreed about your website greg, personally i like the simplicity and layout of your site. The games I recognize, many of them are quality and a lot of fun to boot. I liked reading your Supapon DX review as its a puzzle game I’ve thought about acquiring in the near future but know very little about.

Looking forward to reading your review of Same Game. It’s a shame the Mario style one “Undake 30” didn’t get an actual cart release, unless you were able to get it on one of those sf memory carts but I don’t know. http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/9…..ion/images

I like to make video game remixes and I have a YouTube-page where you can listen to some of my work. Not all of the remixes are from SNES games though. http://www.youtube.com/user/To…..ature=mhee

I’m really digging your Youtube channel! You have a talent for music.

Thanks you! :) I think I’ll upload a new remix this month. It’s not a song from a SNES game, but it’s a Nintendo game though.

Our newest member is named TheSegaDude. I would like to hear his opinions of 16 bit gaming and his experiences with them. Probably could spark some interesting conversations around here. Talk to us TheSegaDude!

Hi, marktheshark here. I first came into this site via a link from a Gamefaqs message board. I first played with it when I was around 2-3 years old. I didn’t get one until I was 12 though. Now I’m 18 and I look to greatly expand my collection now that I have a lot more money.

I don’t really have a particular “favorite game”, but I do like Super Mario World, F-Zero, Pilotwings, Pocky and Rocky, etc. My favorite genres are shmups, rpgs, and beat em’ ups. Also, I’m working on a review on F-Zero for this website.

Thanks. If I have enough time, I’ll also work on a review on Pocky and Rocky. Unfortunately, I don’t have any equipment that I can use to take screenshots of the games (I play Super NES games via original hardware).

Hello, everyone! Happy September. I’m Joe, I hail from the American South where everyone seems to be too busy talking about college football (American) to play vidjah games. Silly Dixies. laugh

This summer I got back into the SNES, I don’t know why, probably because it was hot every day with about a billion per cent humidity. I’d be done with work around noon (I’m a barista), and I’d need something to “keep awake to.” So I’d go to our local media store which sells vidjah games, and always has a decent supply of retros. It’s always a thrill to sift through the gray carts, NES thru N64, seeing what catches my eye. I try to find the deals, which means being up to snuff about what games are going for, which I have a difficult time doing. So I usually go with what I’m familiar with, which are…SPORTS GAMES. Thus my claim to this Hub.

I’ve already learned so much through this site. I’m especially grateful for the international perspective it has. It’s helped me keep perspective. I never would have dreamed there were horse racing games made for the SNES, but now I know there are dozens…and dozens… thanks for the insights, everyone, and I hope I can add something to the sweet 16-bit discussions going on.

Welcome to the site. Horse racing games are big in japan, almost every system has them over there. Outside japan, not so much.

I have Asperger's Syndrome, which means i can come across as rigid and overly argumentative. Please try and look past this and contact me if you have a problem with what/how i type. I type and read very literally and use no undertones. Thank you for trying to understand. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A.....r_syndrome

Sup fellas! Been gaming since 94′ when I received my Super Nintendo console as a gift one Christmas morning and have loved every second of it since then. I haven’t had my original SNES console for ages now as it broke down and my folks decided it would be a good idea to throw it away. mad Just this year I picked up a SNES on ebay for a good price and have been playing it tirelessly for about a month now. Even as I type this I’m playing Super Mario World. As you can tell by my username, Mega Man X is my favorite SNES game of all time and am pretty happy to own an original copy. This site looks awesome and I hope there’s some good times here in the future!
