OfflineNow that I’ve gotten some sleep last night, I’ve been able to organize my next queue. I’m doing reviews of “Beavis and Butt-Head”, “Cool Spot”, “James Bond Jr.”, “Kirby’s Dream Course” and “Last Action Hero”.
I’ll also do my first second-opinion reviews, of “Donkey Kong Country 2” and “Wild Guns”.

OfflineI haven’t done anything like this before, but I’m cancelling my second-opinion reviews of “Wild Guns” and “Donkey Kong Country 2”. I’m not good at stretching, to review length, my extra thoughts on a game previously reviewed here. Either I’m content with the first opinion, or my discrepancies can be handily explained in a forum post or comment.

I know what you mean! I think second opinion articles would be most interesting where the two reviewers have very divergent opinions.
I’ve considered giving Mystic Quest a second opinion, as I remember it being much better than a two star game (despite its simplicity), though I haven’t actually played it in years, so who knows whether I’d feel the same way.

It’s not my particular interest, sports games being my niche and all, but what would someone think about doing an article concerning rare games (as opposed to common)? This ought to eventually be given its due.So who are the knowledgeable collectors among us?
Are you meaning an article about the collecting side of gaming or rare games in terms of price and/or scarcity? Do you mean specific regions that games perhaps were released in as well, i.e the rarest US/PAL/JPN?

That’s understandable. You have contributed a heck of a lot to this site and yet there are still many titles to add before 2nd opinions become more commonplace. I still plan to do a 2nd opinion of MM7 as it’s a very influential game personally.

I haven’t forgotten about my review either, it’s nearly complete but I’m still playing the game. So simple & yet it’s so fun.
Mega Man 7 is a pretty divisive game; some right it off as mediocre and uninspired, while others swear that it is a top shelf entry in the classic series. I’m looking forward to your take.

OfflineUPDATE: The “Kirby’s Dream Course” review is submitted, with screenshots.
It’s new queue time. I will write reviews of “Aero the Acro-Bat”, “Batman Forever”, “BlaZeon”, “Cybernator”, “Indiana Jones’ Greatest Adventures”, “Street Fighter II”, and “Super Valis IV”. I can change things to avoid any overlap.

OfflineJohn, at this point you’re making us all look bad with how quickly you pump these out; I doubt there’s any overlap. Keep it up!
I’m looking forward to your Cybernator and BlaZeon reviews in particular. Cybernator seems to get a lot of praise, though I could never really get into it (I don’t like the “heavy” feel to the controls, even if it is realistic). BlaZeon is often considered one of the worst shmups for the SNES; curious to hear your take on it.

I take this back. Now that my seventh queue is finished, I’m going to go on a sabbatical. I have some other things I need to focus on, and besides I have enough submitted reviews that I can last a few months. When I eventually get back to reviewing, “Cybernator” and the two bat games will be replaced.

I’ve been thinking about doing a review of the first Top Gear game but I’m not sure if it will be relevent as a review for its sequel is already out there.
You don’t have to worry about that. All Super NES games are relevant here, so if you still want to you can go ahead and review it.
